We deploy the church!

Mission at the Mission, a ministry of the Fresno Rescue Mission, helps churches do more than equip believers.  We help churches deploy people where they are needed most… to the local front-line, where a whole host of ministries are in need of their support.

We know that when soldiers return from the front-line, they

  • see the world differently
  • understand needs and situations with greater clarity
  • have the ability to teach others more effectively

How does Mission at the Mission ultimately serve our community?

We provide the front-line ministries with fresh soldiers; those strengthened in purpose, repositioned by the desire God has placed in them, regrouped in skill-filled teams, and redeployed to ministries matching their skillsets. We help the church respond effectively to the needs in our community!  At the same time, the church will become vibrant in the eyes of the community.  Its members will return from the front-line experiences as veterans; stronger, smarter, and capable of moving the church to its full potential.

The community will learn to think of the church as the source where real change is found!
